Manic Monday Video: Crabbing with a GoPro Camera

Under the sea, down where it's wetter, it's always better now crank up the HD

When we went crabbing as kids we didn’t have the Facebook and the Instagrams and the texting and the GoPros. We had hotdog and string.

Here’s a great tip for capturing fog-free underwater video with your GoPro:

Moisture buildup is a huge barrier to crystal clear underwater footage, and the anti-moisture strips GoPro sells aren’t exactly a bargain. Instead, wrap a few grains of smashed rice inside a very small strip of tin foil, narrow enough fit between the camera and casing. Be careful not to let any rice escape! Three strips is usually safe for a day of underwater shooting, and best of all, costs less than a hotdog and string.

Now please excuse me, I have a quarter-century of crabbing to make up.
