Video Short Take: Vesper Marine AIS WatchMate

The AIS WatchMate from Vesper Marine won an innovation award at the 2012 Miami International Boat Show, and here’s why: it’s a stand alone AIS unit with a color touch screen that is able to filter out targets that aren’t an immediate threat. And if you want data on any target, just touch the target on the screen and information about speed, distance, etc pops right up.
