Electronics Rebates: Fishfinders, Chartplotters, VHFs galore!
With spring comes renewal—renewal of marine electronics sales, that is. This is the time of year when many of us decide to upgrade our fishfinders, chartplotters, and VHF radios, and the electronics manufacturers know it. Many of them have sales and rebate programs, which are kicking into high gear right now. You need new electronics? Then check out deals like these:
DeLorme has shaved $100 off the package price, when you buy the new InReach two-way satellite messenger—winner of the 2012 NMMA Innovation Award for electronics—and the Earthmate PN-60W SE, which it connects to via Bluetooth.
ICOM is looking for you, if you’re in search of a new handheld or fixed-mount VHF radio this spring. From now through the end of April, you’ll get $30 back on the M36 handheld radio, or $20 back on the fixed-mount M412.
LOWRANCE is offering rebates when you upgrade anything from your fishfinder to your chartplotter to your radar. They range from $50 to $300 depending on which unit you choose, and run through April 30. Some examples: get an HDS Gen II MFD and add a Structure Scan module, and you’ll receive $300 cash back. Purchasing Broadband radar gets a $150 rebate. And even relatively inexpensive units, like the Elite 5 fishfinder/chartplotter, earn a $50 rebate.
RAYMARINE has a deal going that will help see you through the dark of night: get one of their T300 or T303 infra-red night vision cameras, and they’ll rebate a whopping $1,000.00. This deal is also good through April 30.
SIMRAD is offering up to $300 cash back when you purchase one of their MFD system bundles. Add Broadband radar, the BSM-1, or BSM-2 sounder modules to a NSE or NSO before April 30, mail in a rebate form by May 15, and they’ll be sending you a check.
STANDARD HORIZON is offering up a hundred bucks, for anyone who purchases one of their chartplotters along with a C-Map Max chart card. Yep—April 30 is the deadline to take advantage of this deal, too.
