Electronics, On Sale Now!
Furuno, Garmin, Lowrance, Raymarine, Simrad battle for spring sales.
If you’re in the market for new marine electronics, whether you like Furuno, Garmin, Lowrance, Raymarine, or Simrad, you can save money this spring. It seems like all of these manufacturers have locked horns in a battle to see who can save you the most money – and get the most sales.
Furuno is offering rebates ranging from $50 to $300, up to a $2,500 total, on Navnet 3D MFD’s, DRS radar antennas, DFF1 and DFF3 fishfinders, AIS FA50 and FA30’s, GP330B GPS sensors, BBWX3 and WS200 weather systems, and the new MU120C MFD. The sale’s on through May 1, 2011.
Garmin is in the game too, with $200 mail-in rebates on their 4000 series and 5000 series chartplotters. The offer’s good through May first, and the rebate form has to be postmarked by May 13th.
If you bought a Lowrance before March 27, you have until April 14 to mail in a rebate claim for between $50 and $200 back on HDS units, including the HDS5, 7, 8, and 10. You can also get $50 back on Sirius, SonicHub, StructureScan, and heading sensor units, and a whopping $500 back on Broadband and digital high-def radar units.
Raymarine has two sales this spring, including the Gear Up Sales Event, which gets you rebates as follows: $100 for the C90W; $200 for the C120W; $300 for the C140W; $200 for the E90W; $300 for the E120W; and $400 for the E140W. At the same time, you can get $150 cash back for Raymarine’s A50D, $350 for A57D, and $500 for A70D, in Raymarine’s A-Series Cash Back program. Their offer is good through July fourth.
Si-Tex, meanwhile, isn’t offering you cash – but they are teaming up with Jeppesen in a special sales promotion for North American boaters. Purchase any of the new SI-TEX EC-5, EC-7 or EC-11 chartplotters, and you’ll get a free C-MAP (by Jeppesen) electronic chart card along with it.
Simrad lovers can get between $25 and $500 cash-back in the Gear Up promotion, which runs through May 31. The top offer of $500 is for Broadband radar, but big savings ($450) are also available on NSE navigation packages.
