The weather is fine in Oakland’s Jack London Square, site of the combined Strictly Sail Pacific and Power Expo. If you’re within range, come on down this weekend; it’s going to be even warmer. (More photos coming soon.)
With the economy down, the sail and power shows usually run on consecutive weekends joined forces.

My friend has already sailed this hot little trimaran from New Zealand, the Weta. It's fast, hard to tip over, and has a clever self-righting system just in case. (Alan found this came in handy).
